Early Results Returned on Crisis Response Model

The preliminary report on two Integrated Crisis Response (ICR) Pilot Program sites describes key characteristics of clients investigated and detained during the first 16 months of the program.

A bill passed in 2005, directed DSHS to create pilot programs and determine if ICR sites can cost effectively improve mental health/chemical dependency evaluation, treatment and outcomes of clients they serve. Details on the report can be found at the Mental Health Transformation Project web site at www.mhtransformation.wa.gov.
