New WCMHC Web Site and Calendar

The Washington Community Mental Health Council is thrilled to announce the launch of our newly re-designed website! Please visit us at www.wcmhcnet.org.

Thanks to support from the Washington State Department of Health Office of Health Promotion and the Mental Health Transformation Project, a vital part of our new and improved website is the creation of a statewide mental health training calendar, which can be found here: www.wcmhcnet.org/calendar.asp.

Our hope is that this calendar will serve to increase the knowledge of providers of mental health services, consumers, advocates and family members, and the broader mental health community about educational opportunities on the recovery model, community mental health services and stigma reduction.

If you are planning a training activity that you would like to have listed on the training calendar, please forward all relevant information (including date, location, time, type of training and a brief description, along with a link to additional online information or a pdf of the registration brochure) to Alison Avery, Education & Project Manager, at aavery@wcmhcnet.org or at the address below.
